Appearance

Madico tint films are non-reflective and are available in a wide range of tints – five greys and three bronzes as well as amber, green, rose and blue – to give the appearance of tinted glass. They are used mainly for aesthectic reasons and to help control solar glare and UV radiation.

Applications

These films are of particular use where there is a need to control light levels for atmospheric effect, e.g. in museums and for UV control in areas used for certain light sensitive manufacturing processes.

Specialists applications

Amber film TA81XSR is frequently used for UV sensitive industrial and scientific applications, and can be double –layered to achieve extremely low UV transmissions.

Dark grey/black film type TG8XSR is often used for privacy screening where high light transmission is not required; a lighter tint such as TG36XSR can be applied, if silver reflective is also used to help provide one-way privacy.
